01.11.2013: Fishing in Cardigan Bay, disabled some 15 miles N of Fishguard with rope round propeller. Initially taken in tow by another scalloper but tow parted. Fishguard lifeboat launched at 0400 and arrived on scene an hour later, connected a commenced tow to Fishguard. 0800 delivered safely alongside at Fishguard.
11.2016: Still fishing and landing at Brixham/Newlyn; member of the South Western Fish Producers Organisation Ltd, Ivybridge, Devon (155.81 units).

ALAUNA was originally named GRETJEN, ALAUNA was the Roman name for Maryport, she was based there in the 70’s and also spent some time in Scarborough.
Reported in Fleetwood from very early in the 70,s until early 80’s.
Reported lost by her owner on a hand of cards, in a Blackpool casino

1969: Zyava 111 FD101 P. Welsh & others, Fleetwood. One of the “others” was W ( Bruno) Clark who I understand later became sole owner however this is not recorded in Olsens where the entry remains unchanged.
1970: in ownership of Harry Beverley. Moved to Skippool Creek for conversion to a cruiser. Project abandoned due to the death of the owner. Ownership subsequently passed to Clive Bourne who rebuilt her and sailed her out to Gibraltar.
2016: In Dutch ownership and was last reported based in Scheveningen.

1988: Sold to Rederij Jac. Bakker & Zonen, Den Helder.
1992: Sold to Ian James Ritchie, Fraserburgh. Den Helder registry closed. Registered at Fraserburgh as OCEAN DAWN (FR347).
1992: Remeasured 269grt 80n regd length 33.00 metres (108.27 feet).
1993: Converted to single boat trawling for whitefish.
