History
1959: Completed by Cook, Welton & Gemmell, Beverley as LONDON TOWN (Yd. No. 955) for the Hewett Fishing Co Ltd, Fleetwood. Registered at London (LO70)
1964: Sold to Boston Deep Sea Fishing Co Ltd, Fleetwood
for use as an oil rig safety vessel.
21.12.1968: Fears raised for the safety of the vessel after radio contact lost while fishing off the West Coast of Scotland. RAF Shackleton deployed and located the trawler (Sk. Freddie Thompson) which was experiencing wireless problems.
09.01.1976: Off Donegal coast,(Sk. Jack Kelly) arrested for fishing inside Irish territorial waters, inside of the 12 mile limit. In court at Stranraer. Hearing adjourned until 10th at Letterkenny.
10.01.1976: At Letterkenny fined £50.
14.10.1977: A 62 year old seaman died in Coleraine Hospital after being airlifted from the trawler, complaining of head pains. Cause of death listed as “brain haemmorage”.
1981: Sold to Putford Enterprises, Milford Haven
1982: Sold to Antony James, Milford Haven
1984: Sold to Huxley Fishing Co Ltd, Lowestoft and renamed GUANA
1992: Sold for scrap to Victor Montenegro Feijoo
10/07/1992: Arrived Vigo for breaking
