Thanks for contacting me Alan….some additions for you…..FD 98 Philomena, FD 114 Ora et labora, FD 66 Sapphire….I’ll provide more info as time allows……thank you for directing me to the photos of Morleigh……I am also chuffed to have found out the fate of Pygmalion, as my grandfather was skipper of her, when she was in BM.

my great grandfather Reuben Ball sailed on the tyne trawler in 1901 from Fleetwood.
I would be gratful if you tell me if therer are any records of this.

Hiya there Alan,
I’m doing the wildlife photography course at the uni, and am doing a project on the fishing industry, i just wondered if you would know of any trawlers that are still operational and if they would not mind me coming on a trip to do some work for my project.
