Please could you see if you have any information on my father James Liddell (Jimmy)
He passed away on the 31/01/1979 when i was 3 months old so i never knew him and i would like to find out more about him. He was the enginer onboard the Boston Explorer before it was sold in 1978-79

Hi Alan,

Was just wondering if you could tell me if there was a COD WAR during the 1960s? I know of three only! 1st in the late 1950s and 2nd in the early 1970s and 3rd in the mid 1970s! Could you tell me if there was EVER a 4th COD WAR during the 1960s? I realise that some English ships must have been in the waters in that area during the 1960s but were they ever in CONFLICT with ICELAND at all?

Have just bought a silver pocket watch inscribed W.MARSHALL/ S.T.Stoic/ To Commemorate 10th JULY 1917. Could this be connected with the ST Stoic sunk by U boat?

Hello Clarence, i have no images of the spitfire but did find an image of a vessel named the Mosquito, REG was H128 but i do not know if she was the boston.

I am a writer from Newfoundland and do research on two trawlers name Boston Mosquito and Boston Spitfire.They came to Newfoundland and were later wrecked. I am wondering if there are any photos of them.
