About the site

What is this site all about ?
In short this site is all about the Fleetwood Fishing Industry and the Motor Trawlers that sailed from the port. If you would like to find information on Steam Trawlers or Sail Ships you can vist the Bosuns Watch website by clicking here.

Why did you decide to create this site ?
Well, unfortunately the fishing industry in Fleetwood is struggling to survive. There is only a handful of boats left working out of the port. The fishing industry has been a major part of the Fleetwood’s history for so long and its a shame to see what state its ended up in. So i decided to create this site and try to keep the memories of the fishing trade in Fleetwood alive.

How do you get the information on the trawlers ?
Books, Websites, Family, Friends and users of this site.

Can i send information on a Fleetwood trawler for the site ? Off course, please feel free to email the information to me at the following email address, info@fleetwood-fishing-industry.co.uk
