As a Kid I was always on the Fish Docks and many a Time you would find me At That Builders Yard where a lot of Trawlers were built. In fact I have played on that trawler. Also Tugs infact There was a Tug built at that yard Called the Point Spencer. How I Know I have sailed on it, and was owned by Ocean Cory London When I joined that ship (Tug) in Dundee. I reported to the Skipper And said Home from Home the old man looked at me! What do you mean I said this was built at Hessle at Yard 736, and told him that if you take down that ships Clock you will see my name, any how we sailed over to Amsterdam and on our way back up to the Shetlands when the Skipper came to me down below and said Yes your name is behind it! Things you do when you are a kid I wonder how many Tugs or Trawlers that are still as sea that have my name on? Why my name as well as my mates name are painted on the starboard side Where there was the or a type of wooden structure where the or some instruments were to be housed., again memories.
